Thank you

For the last seven days we have been camped out at Russells Hall Hospital A&E and Holly Hall Walk in Centre, listening to your experiences.

We have spent at least twelve hours a day at each site and by the end of today (Thursday December 5th) we will have spoken with over 1000 people and completed interviews with around 900 patients or their carers.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has completed our survey, which included questions about how people are accessing A&E, the Walk in Centre and their own doctors surgeries.

Our results will be presented to Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) the group of doctors who are responsible for delivering health services in Dudley borough.  The CCG asked us to carry out this research, to complement their own consultation into urgent care services (urgent care is for people who need help very quickly rather than people who need emergency support).

If you didn’t get to speak to us this week but would still like to share your views with us about the future of urgent care in Dudley borough, or about any other health or social care matter, please complete our simple online form here or speak to us on 03000 111 001.

A final big thank you goes out to our new team of volunteers who have given us many hours of their time and some fantastic support throughout this important piece of work.
