Our annual report covers our work over the past year. Our award winning team have continued to champion the voices of Dudley borough and enact positive change.
Summary
We have met over 1500 people through face-to-face engagement. Through this engagement, we heard about people's experiences of health and social care. Our work this year has led to positive change.
Key findings
- We supported Deaf people working with Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust to get vibrating pages in hospital waiting areas.
- We supported the production of "I am Deaf" cards to alert people of communication needs.
- Dudley Young Health Champions have developed projects on health issues that matter to them.
Further work with the People's Panel has influenced how local bodies work to provide health and social care services. Our work this year would not have been possible without the support of our 40 amazing volunteers.
