COVID-19: impacts on health and care
We joined forces with other organisations to host an online forum to see how people have been accessing services and what the future of health and care in the Dudley borough might look like.
Summary
46 people from local communities, health and care settings and voluntary organisations shared their views.
Key findings
- New ways of accessing services have been welcomed by vulnerable people.
- Community groups have stepped up to help people get the support they need.
- People recognise and are thankful for the commitment of key workers.
After looking at the responses from participants, questions have emerged pn how to adapt health and care services in the future. While online services are a welcome change for some people, we must be sure to not exclude people who do not have access to technology.
