Exploring access to GP services in Dudley borough
Over 1000 people across Dudley shared their experiences of accessing their GP services.
Summary
After hearing concerns from the community about accessing their GP services, we wanted to delve deeper.
We heard from over 1000 people through surveys, visits to community groups and Enter & View visits.
Key findings
- 43% of people with additional communication need said their GP practice doesn't meet their communication needs.
- 86% of people would like more information on the services their GP practice provides.
- We discovered what can work well for patients and suggest opportunities for change.
We followed up in January 2024 and were pleased to see classes are still ongoing and other services remained involved with the centre.
