Say Hello benches are back for loneliness awareness week
People can drop by and 'say hello' at 14 locations across Dudley borough from 10 - 16 June 2024.
The ‘Say Hello’ benches are a chance for people to drop by, take five minutes and just have a chat with someone they might not normally speak to.
John Bishop launched his "Say Hello" campaign in 2022 to encourage people to talk to strangers and combat loneliness. The campaign is running again this year, with 14 locations across Dudley borough. People can go and say hello, get information and take part in an activity.
Our host company, Dudley CVS, will be hosting a bench in the High Street, Dudley town centre.
Monday 10 June: 10am-12pm (have a chat and a book swap)
Tuesday 11 June: 10am-12pm (peer-peer support information for parents)
Friday 14 June: 10am-12pm (Healthwatch Dudley)
