Healthwatch Dudley have spent the past year aiming to become the 'go to' listening organisation for Dudley residents who have a story to tell about their health and care.
Summary
We spent the past year working with various partners and organisations, engaging with the community. We shared our findings with decision makers to improve health and social care services in Dudley borough.
Key outcomes
- The launch of The People's Network gives local people a more influential voice in decisions that are made about adult social care.
- We worked with Citizens Advice Bureau to deliver Information Champion training to over 150 people.
- Over 800 people have contributed to the development if pharmacy services in the future.
