Annual report 2021-22

Our Annual Report for 2021-22, highlights our efforts in championing the voices of the local community and improving health and social care services.

Summary

We have worked this year to champion the voices of people across the Dudley borough. From hosting online sessions to tackling the digital divide, supporting local partnerships, and bringing people back together, we strive to help improve health and social care in the borough.

Key findings

  • People joined us on online sessions and forums to share their important issues. We listened and shared wellbeing information, and got people talking.
  • We involved local people in decision making, such as involving a panel of local people to support senior manager recruitment for Dudley Integrated Health and Care NHS Trust.
  • Local groups and organisations helped review how GP practices interact with learning-disabled and autistic people.

The local community have continued to share their experiences with us, enabling us to champion change in health and social care. Partnerships have continued with the goal of improving services post-pandemic.
