We have been working with the Care Quality Partnership to identify care and nursing homes to visit throughout the year, with a view to listen to the experiences of residents and relatives.
Summary
We visited Allenbrook Care Home in May 2024 to speak to residents and their families to discover what life is like for the people who live there.
Key findings
- 43% of people we spoke to said that staff were caring.
- There was a mix of views about the range of activities available at Allenbrook. Residents suggested activities that they liked, such as bingo and skittles.
- 100% of people we spoke to said their (or their relative's room) was clean and comfortable.
